Last night Jo and I went to an interesting house party. Interesting in that it wasn’t really what I think of a sex party. It was more of a party where it was okay to have sex. The house was a little small to have much of a party. There was one bedroom that was okay and another bedroom that was small and had a lot of stuff in it that took up most of the room. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were the socialization area and wasn’t really conducive to being a play area.

We just barely knew about half of the people there and so we, with the permission of the hosts, invited two other couples we knew. Trevor & Kathleen and Jack & Danielle. Jack and & Danielle weren’t able to attend but Trevor and Kathleen made it.

Last night we went to Club Topaz again. We were going to be gone for the weekend and decided to try out a Friday party even though we knew there would be a lot more people on Saturday.

We arrived about 7:30 and even though we didn’t expect a lot of people present we were disappointed in the number of people present. While true, the odds are that if there aren’t very many people present the “one couple” is less likely to be there as well. After talking for a while Jo went to the bar to get a drink while I got a snack from the food table. When I went to find her she was talking with another young man near the bar. Saturday night, Valentines Day, was a large party with several hundred people. Jo and I were pretty much wiped out by our volunteering and didn’t participate in the party. So Sunday night we attended for our own benefit.

There were perhaps 20 or 30 participants and no one of particular interest to us. We played with each other on “the perch” and watched some others having sex then went home.

Jo and I attended the Valentine’s Day party at Club Pyrite as volunteer drink servers. We arrived at 6:00 PM for the pre-event briefing. I also found it very interesting that the event I went to the next morning was something completely unrelated to sex and that one of the other participants was Kenny (see here for more details) who I had met at Club Pyrite many years ago.
